1.) All costumes must be family friendly. No hateful imagery, or inappropriate costumes or props.

2.) Respect all guests, contestants, and staff. Harassment, bullying, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

3.) Contestants may enter as individuals or groups.

4.) Costumes can be handmade, commissioned, closet cosplay, or store bought. Creativity and presentation matter most.

​

5.) No real weapons are allowed. Prop weapons must be safe, lightweight, and approved by staff before the contest.

​

6.) No dangerous props or effects. This includes open flames, fireworks, smoke devices, lasers, sharp objects, or anything that may harm others.

​

7.) Keep performances short and family friendly. Skits or walk ons should stay under 1 minute unless otherwise approved.

​

8.) Contestants must be fully clothed in accordance with public event standards. Shoes are required at all times.

​

9.) The sign up/check in area will be located at Dekamexican’s table in the exhibitor hall. The deadline is 30 minutes before the contest begins.

​

10.) Judges’ decisions are final.

​
